3. Hosting via Firebase Hosting

This website is delivered via Firebase Hosting of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the site is accessed, the hosting service processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser details in order to deliver the page and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable provision (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (f) GDPR). A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. Local storage in the browser

We store your shopping cart and your choice in the cookie settings in the local storage of your browser. This data stays on your device and is only passed to our payment service provider when the checkout is started (see section 6). The storage is strictly necessary for the service you have requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the data at any time via your browser settings.

5. Google Analytics (only with consent)

If you allow the category “Statistics” in the cookie settings, we use Google Analytics 4 of Google Ireland Limited (address see section 3) to understand how visitors use the shop. Google Analytics is not loaded before that. Cookies are set (_ga, _ga_*, lifetime up to 2 years) and usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser information and the IP address are processed. We also record which motifs you view, add to the cart and order (motif, format, price, quantity, order total) – without name, email, delivery or payment data; Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Advertising features are disabled. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, via the link “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. When you withdraw, we delete the analytics cookies in your browser.

6. Payment processing via Stripe

With “Checkout” we transmit the items in your shopping cart (item identifier and quantity) to our server, which creates a payment page at Stripe from them. Our server is a cloud function of Google Ireland Limited (address see section 3) in the Frankfurt data centre; technically necessary access data such as your IP address are processed in the process. The provider is Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland. On the payment page you enter your name, delivery address, email address and payment data. Stripe processes this data to handle the payment and to prevent fraud and transmits to us the details required for the order. The legal basis is the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (b) GDPR), and for fraud prevention our legitimate interest in secure payments (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (f) GDPR). A transfer to Stripe, Inc. in the USA is possible; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. If PayPal is offered as a payment method and you choose it, PayPal’s privacy notices apply in addition. On the payment page, Stripe’s privacy notices apply. We keep order data for as long as commercial and tax retention obligations require (up to 10 years).

For shipping, we transmit your name and delivery address to DHL Paket GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn, Germany. The legal basis is the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (b) GDPR). We do not pass your email address or phone number on to DHL.

7. Online withdrawal

If you declare a withdrawal via our page “Withdraw from contract”, we process your name, email address, order number and your details of the items concerned in order to handle the withdrawal and to confirm receipt to you. The declaration and the acknowledgement of receipt are sent by email via Google Gmail (Google Ireland Limited, address see section 3). The legal basis is the fulfilment of our legal obligations (Art. 6(1) sentence 1 point (c) GDPR). We store the declaration as an email for as long as commercial and tax retention obligations require.
